An empty garage....: First snow

We had the first snow of the season this week. After the weekend apparently it is supposed to get real cold so there may be more.

This blog is about building a small rowing and sailing boat, it is designed by John Welsford and is called Walkabout.

I will try to document my build in as much detail as possible, partly for my own memory but also because I have had great help and inspiration from other boat building blogs so hopefully other people might find this useful as well.

I am not a boat builder and really have no idea what I am doing, so the blog is a document of what I did not about how it should be done....

I hope to be on the water during summer of 2012. (We all know now that did not happen so let's aim for summer 2013).

'Xiao Feng' was finally launched on July 6th 2013.
